This original print is excellent with minor tears along the edge. 12X16" Thomas Nast drew for Harper's Weekly from 1862 to 1886, but it was his vitriolic attacks on Boss Tweed and Tammany Hall beginning in 1871 that sent him to the apex of his fame. The Women of Ohio take on the problem of whiskey and alcohol that is ruining the nation. The Temperance movement gains strength like Joan of Arc. . Any shading shown is in the scan and not the print. Prints are fairly off-white.
