Nate's Magic Cards
This auction is for the MTG (Magic: The Gathering) card(s) listed in the title & shown in the picture. The
condition of the card(s) is listed in the title, and the picture is a
scanned image of the EXACT card(s) you will receive, if you are the
winning bidder. In other words, every auction I list has a picture
unique to that auction. I do this so that you can have some idea of what
you are getting before you buy it. I am happy to provide additional scans or any pertinent information upon

Mint (M): Visibly pristine and unplayed. Not a typical grade to throw around, most Mint cards you buy from me will come to you straight from a pack that I opened. Otherwise this grade is reserved for particularly well-preserved cards, those displaying no apparent evidence of wear.
Near Mint (NM): Almost perfect in appearance, although not quite. In my mind, NM represents a standard of high quality. In practice, this means that I will only assign this grade to cards that I am prepared to value at "full price". While I would encourage you to always take a look at each card's picture for yourself, as a rule of thumb you can be fairly confident that if I grade a card NM, the card will display little or no wear. Moreover, and perhaps more importantly, if it is the case that the card is flawed, then, by my estimation, the flaw or flaws that the card displays are not be serious enough to detract from the card's "full value" as a collectible item. I could say more but you probably get the idea already...
Excellent (EX): There may be a little bit of visible wear, but not much. Whatever it may be that I think is wrong with a card graded EX, it is probably something relatively minor – while also being something significant enough for me to be uncomfortable with simply calling the card NM. Consequently, when it seems appropriate, I may add a plus (+) or minus (-) symbol to a card's grade to indicate where it stands relative to other cards which receive the same grade. Similarly, if I feel like a given card's condition possibly falls into the description of more than one category, I may give it a grade which is a combination of more than one category (i.e. EX/NM).
Very Good (VG): Not as good as EX, I guess. Play-wear is present but minimal.
Light Play (LP): There is some light wear, but no serious damage.
Some Play (SP): Moderately worn, of mediocre quality, obviously used.
Played (PL): Significant wear may exist, but most cards graded PL are fine when kept properly sleeved.
Heavy Play (HP): Unappealing and/or potentially unacceptable wear. Be forewarned that some cards graded HP may not be suitable for gameplay. Please have a close look at the picture before bidding!
