Ford Anglia 105E Deluxe Saloon - unfinished restoration project - relisted due to transport problems.  However the issue has been addressed by doing a temporary repair to secure the off-side strut top allowing the car to roll freely again.

Rare early model in two-tone yellow and white with grey plastic steering wheel, etc.  Car was in daily use until 9 years ago, but has lain idle since then.  Car needs substantial welding with one of the main areas being the off-side front inner wing which has collapsed.

Car has an original factory-fitted Ford radio, which was working, but has not been tested since car came off road.  Also an auxilliary instrument panel mounted under the dashboard with ammeter, clock and oil pressure guage as well as a miniature power socket for plugging in accessories; also switches for large chrome fog and spot lights.

Interior is reasonable for the age of the car (the back seats still have the original factory-fitted plastic covers) but was removed for the restoration (included in sale).  Original over-riders are included.

Steering wheel has original red plastic cover and is also fitted with aluminium plates on the 'spokes' of the steering wheel.

The engine was running 9 years ago, but there were problems with the starter ring.  New rear springs were fitted about 8 years ago.  Other spares may be available to purchase at time of collection.  We are also selling another 105E, which is only suitable for spares.

As can be seen from the photos, there is a lot of rust on this car and it would require a skilled restorer.  A trailer is essential to collect the car.

Buyer to collect the car which is situated just off the A83 about 5 miles south of Tarbert, in Kintyre, Argyll.

Please note: Payment of a £50 deposit is required within 24 hours of the auction ending with the balance payable in cash upon collection within 7 days.
