French Wooden Farmyard Box

This is a gorgeous vintage style storage box.

It is made out of pale coloured wood and is randomly painted in a very 

slight whitewash finish on the outside giving an aged appearance. 

The inside is left as natural wood. 

On the two long sides, the French words ‘MAISON DE CAMPAGNE’ are

 painted in cream along with a script style painted cream border.

 An embossed metal picture of a cow are screwed into either side.

The sides have a French postcard theme with post marks and stamps. 

The two ends have chalkboards inset, so that you can write the contents

 of the box on it, particularly useful if you have it upon a high shelf 

as a reminder of what's inside.

This would make a truly stylish container for keeping all kinds of things in,

 in any room in the house.
