Offered here is an Extremely Rare, Original piece of JACK "KING" KIRBY ORIGINAL ARTWORK DRAWING for the RARE Marvelmania CAPTAIN AMERICA BUTTON from 1969. The artwork is about 7" x 7 1/4" and drawn in pencil and black ink. This is some of Jack Kirby's best artwork, a true classic Kirby piece. The button was used in the set of 8 Marvel Super Hero buttons ONLY offered via mail from the Marvelmania International Fanclub way back in 1969. This button set has been increasing in value some 10-25% a year. One set was sold at the SDCC for $3,500 two years ago. In the last year and a half two sets have sold on Ebay for $ 3,950. On this season's "Storage Wars" Barry Weiss found a set and it was appraised for $4,000. It was rumored he sold it for even more. Given the price of the buttons, you can bank on the fact that this Original Artwork is well worth the price and a solid investment.

The artwork will be shipped flat, securely packed and insurance.
