PAC / Dension - Gateway Lite Adds USB & iPod Input - Select Vehicles Equipped with M.O.S.TCompatibility Notes
The GWL1MO1 emulates a CD changer and uses CD changer
controls to access offboard audio sources like iPod and USB devices and
does not support text. If your car is not equipped with a CD changer,
it may be necessary to have the car programmed by your dealer in order
to use the Gateway Lite.
- If CD changer is present, the GW51MO2 is recommended so that the CD changer can be retained
- For direct iPod input, part IP05DC9 or IP44CR9 is necessary
- Factory external CD changer must be disconnected (if present). The optional Optical Loop (FOA1TL1)
can be used to bypass the CD changer optics in cases where the changer
is in the trunk (allowing the GWL1MO1 to be installed at the radio)
- USB media device must be formatted to FAT16 or FAT32 file system
- USB device with a large music database can use the Gateway Indexer to manage files
- Please click here for compatible iPod and iPhone devices
- Gateway only supports 500 mA charge. Newer Apple devices that require 1 amp charge will require additional accessory (IPB1DIN)
