Description: OUIJA BOARD GAME by Parker Bros. from 1992. This is a custom made board and planchette. The sun and moon are enhanced and hand painted. The skeletons are airbrushed and then hand painted. The planchete is of a clear plastic and is laser etched with matching skeleton heads that are painted on the board. Now, I must say this is not the original box. The board is an original 1992 version but has two holes where it was hanging when I purchased it from a garage sale about 7 years ago. You must read below the side note before you purchase the board.

 

Side note: This is what I was told when I purchased the board believe it or not? When I was in Denver, I can’t completely remember what I was doing but I happened across an estate sign and I decided to stop. When I went in it appeared to be a normal estate sale with older 1960’s- 1970’s stuff, stuff from an older couple. When I went down stairs to my amazement I found a dungeon. What I mean by this is that it appeared to be a basement of a teenager who played lots of Dungeons and Dragons and was definitely into the occult. There was stuff everywhere along these lines. This is a long story so I will shorten it. The board was hanging over his bedroom. The estate agent explained that the son was in an accident and passed away? Not sure if I believed this completely at the time until his sister showed up. What I mean, by not believing her, is that she was quite weird and I was a bit taken back. The sister and the woman told me that the board was not to be used only to be viewed. To this day I still have no idea what they meant because I have never played with the board and to tell you the truth it is even creepier after learning the history. The sinister told me that when they purchased the board in 1992 they originally played with the board. Since her brother was already toying with what he never should have been toying with they opened a door, a door that never should have been opened. I painted this board to reflect the story, to make it a bit creepier. If you look closely the board spells out something.

 

Condition: This is a custom painted board airbrushed and hand painted. The indicator is handmade out of clear plastic and laser etched. So in essence the board is touched up and the indicator is a custom replacement. The board has two holes at the top where it was hanging. The box is not in great condition and has some edge wear with one taped corner. You are basically paying for the contents and they are very cool.  This game is 100% complete.
