These LEDs are more commonly used in a commercial installation and can be fitted in a variety of locations around the home to create spectacular effect mood lighting, as you can imagine with this LED lighting being a commercial product you will find this to be very reliable, bright and effective.

The kitchen in the pictures was fitted with warm white LEDs under and above the units with colour changing LED's on the plinths and inside the display cabinet, as you can see the LED's gives out a nice bright ambient workable light. Please note that these photos were taken at night with no other lighting other than the LED's and I also have a dimmer fitted on the warm white which is dimmed at approx 70% full brightness, you can see a video of this HERE

I have found this very easy to fit as the LED's are very adaptable due to size and flexibility meaning it can be placed in a variety of positions with ease and can be cut every 50mm to get the desired length, I Have also shown pictures of colour changing LED's fitted behind our Sony TV and in a conservatory.

1. The flat flexible LED strip is very small, 8mm wide and 1.5mm thick, this makes the LED's very discreet and easy to hide.

2. The LED strip can be cut or joined every 50mm unlike a lot of similar products, therefore can be cut to the length of the units so you get a nice even spread of light with no shadows or gaps.

3. Energy consumption is very low, approx 6 watts per metre using my 12volt dc power supply.

5. The LED's come complete with self adhesive 3m backing tape so are very easy to mount / stick in place.

How hard is it to swap my existing light to this product;

It is very easy to upgrade / replace existing fluorescent light fittings under your kitchen units with this LED product when choosing the High Quality LED driver option, you simply buy the length strips you require and follow the small guide below.

1. Isolate the power and remove the old light fitting.

2. Connect the mains feed wire that went to the old light fitting into the input side LED driver.

3. Connect the wire on the LED strip into the output side of the LED driver.

4. Stick or screw the LED driver to the bottom of your cupboard.

5. Degrease the bottom of your cupboard where you want to stick the LED strip and then simply stick the LED into place.

Each kit includes; 

Ready to fit 1 metre flat flexible 60 ultra bright miniature LED’s (45 LED's on colour change, this is 3 LED's in each LED block) with a 12v DC 5.5 female power lead soldered to the end and complete with a self adhesive 3m backing tape to stick the LEDs in place, If you buy more than 1 metre then your order will be supplied in one length for example if you buy 5 metres I will provide you with 1 x 5m length. You can shorten this to suit your requirements or message me with your payment and I will be happy to provide this at your required length.

If you buy colour changing LED's then you will also get 1 x colour changing controller complete with infra-red remote control with built in dimmer function so you can select your colour or a pre set colour changing sequence like the one shown in the video HERE

1 x Free plug in or hard wired power supply complete with a 12v DC 5.5 male power lead to plug straight onto the LED strip, the power supply will be the correct power rating to power the full amount of LEDs you buy in your order, If required I can supply more than one power supply but depending on how much LED tape you require and how many power supplies this may cost more (message me for details). 

If you select the High Quality LED Driver option you will get approx 1m of wire soldered onto the LED strip ready to connect into your LED Driver in place of the 5.5 male/female plugs.
