Description These 2 cool vintage snowman candy containers date to the late 1940's, or early 1950's. They were made by Rosbro, a division of the E. Rosen Candy Company, as a novelty to help sell more candy! The E. Rosen Company sold this same container in slightly different incarnations - as a snowman with a cigar, with a pipe, in orange for Halloween, and even sold the mold design to other companies who sold similar toys (Miller Electric, Sears, etc). The cigar on these fellows has a red end, to show it as lit. The paint is excellent. Each piece has one or two very small discolored spots, but no breaks or damage. The seams are yellowed, as the company did not use acid free glue. One piece has quite a few discoloration spots on the bottom - not sure what caused them - they are not glue marks. They don't show, unless the piece is turned over. These guys measure 5" tall, and display beautifully! I have lots of vintage hard plastic holiday items for sale, so take a look!

Shipping All items are shipped within 24 hours of payment! I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can. I hate adding more garbage to the environment; if you receive a box from me that has been used before, I am "recycling". I will make sure it's sturdy and the item well packaged. I will ensure your item will arrive in good condition, but the box may not be pretty (or it might be - I have to buy boxes, as well). All shipping within the US is free to you. All my packages are tracked, but if for some reason you don't receive your item or it arrives broken, I will refund your money.
