The suit itself comes in competition (very light padding for) or semy comp (medium padding) These 2 levels are great for experienced decoys (trial) or for working pups or young dogs. When you put your covers on, the suit transforms to a semy training or to a training suit for the hardest dogs.
This is what we mean by its like getting 2 suits for the price of one, it transforms.
If you had this suits you would not have to replace your suit all you would have to do is replace your covers. there is no need for extra protection under the suit the covers are the extra protection. The covers are 2 layers of fabric (french linen)bonded and quilted there is then a felt behind the covers and that is what determines what level (semy training or training)
