feel free to call me if you have any questions. 6I9-494-88seven6

1968 Buick Grand Sport GS-400. only 65,000 original miles. the car has the factory Buick 400ci 6.6 liter Big Block motor with factory "true dual" exhaust manifolds & pipes. the car is completely numbers matching... right down to the original T3 head lamps & Buick "Finned" aluminum front drums. this is an extremely rare muscle car that shows some age but is nearly 99% compete! i had every intention of keeping the car for myself & restoring it. i purchased the GS400 back in march. the car was not running & been sitting for sometime. since then my uncle (a retired certified General Motors mechanic) & i have spent countless hours making her road worthy again. here's a short list of what was done.

:fresh oil change, a zinc additive was added as well for better lubrication.
:spark plugs were removed, checked & gapped. he also squirted oil into each cylinder for starting
:the distributor & valve covers were removed & oil system was manually primed.
:old valve covers were cleaned & the gaskets replaced
:the block, heads & cooling system were completely flushed twice using an OTC air flushing tool. after the car was started the cooling system was completely flushed a 3rd time & filled with a 50/50 mixture.
:the original Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor was rebuilt to factory specs & tuned. it was also assembled with ethanol friendly components
:all belts, radiator hoses, heater hoses were replaced
:the brakes were checked & all 4 wheel cylinders were replaced. all rubber brake hoses were also replaced. brake system was flushed & bled
:THM-400 transmission fluid & filter change. a High Flow Allison mesh screen trans filter was used in place of the stock restricting TH-400 trans filter
:fuel system tank, hoses etc were also flushed
:major tune up was done. dwell was set to 30 degrees, timing set to 8 degrees btdc.
:& last a compression test was done to determine the health of the 400 big block motor. highest reading was 185psi lowest was 177psi... basically a very solid healthy running motor! :)
:the Duralast Gold battery is also fairly new & under warranty through Autozone

i have no doubt this car will run & drive you anywhere you want to go. mechanically it is very sound. just as it should be with a 65,000 original mile car. i have a clean California title in hand the car is also registered non-op status so NO back DMV fees. the car is also 99% complete with most of it's original hardware intact! the car has not been molested or modified. it does need body work. there is rust on the roof where the vinyl top used to be. the car also needs interior work. for some reason the rear lights don't turn on although the rear brake lights & turn signals work perfectly fine. my uncle says the head light switch needs to be cleaned or replaced. i have all the exterior trim, 4 new GM issued Buick GS400 rubber floor mats, a pristine "crack free" black dash pad & all of the complete rear window trim in case you decide to ditch the vinyl top & make it a hard top. this is a rare unmolested muscle car from the pinnacle of the muscle era... a solid, running, driving project car that could be worth close to or more than double the asking price once fully restored. thanks for looking. email with any questions
