Guitar/Bass Fretboard Note Labels

Many of my students had a really tough time trying to learn the notes because let's face it, it isn't fun! So I decided to try and put together a resource that would help speed students through this necessary evil. We roadtested a few ideas and concluded that as usual, the simplest ideas are always the best. A straightforward set of indivdual fret note labels was what we found to work the best.

I gave a set to one student who had been struggling for months to get the notes learned and he came back to me the next week with no fret labels on his guitar. I asked him why he hadn't bothered putting them on yet and he replied that he had, and that thanks to the labels he had mastered the note locations in UNDER A WEEK! I decided to give him a quick pop test and sure enough he not only knew where every note was, he knew where they were INSTANTLY. Unbelievable for someone who had previously been struggling with this concept for months! These labels work and I have several students who will attest to this! As a bonus the stickers will also to help encourage correct finger placement.  You'll be the next Jimi Hendrix in no time!

What Do I Get?

Each order is for one set of labels. Each set will come with enough labels to fit almost any stringed instrument. As standard there are stickers for EADGBE strings for 25 frets each and there is an extra bonus string with another 25 frets worth of labels.  Use them to learn note placement, scales, chord shapes etc...get creative!

Installation

Each set of labels comes on a pre-cut sheet and each string is laid out as it would be on your guitar for easy installation. Depending on how much of a perfectionist you are, installation time should run you about 30 minutes. What Can I Use Them On?

Any stringed instrument should work perfectly. Guitar, bass, lefty, righty, you name it. You could even use these on piano or violin, be imaginative!

Are They Safe?

100%! The labels are printed on custom cut paper which is re-peelable, so they won't leave any permanent residue on your fretboard.

Installation

By installing the labels at the back of each fret we can effectively eliminate all finger contact which enables the stickers to stay in position for months if required.  You obviously have the option of placing the labels on the first 12 frets only as the note patterns will repeat themselves after the 12th - this will half installation time and let you use the labels on two guitars instead of one.
