Auguste Blackman, born in 1957 is an Australian painter and printmaker. The son of Charles and Barbara Blackman, he continues the creative legacy of his celebrated parents. Blackman's figurative expressionist work is recognised by it's bold use of colour and playful narrative. His reinterpretation of his environment allows the viewer to see through his eyes and offer a unique and fresh perspective to the world which surrounds us.
