We have been installing electric cooling fan conversions on our customers cars for years with great results in gas mileage and in power increase. This is something that should have been done from the factory on every car built, but the factories were too cheap and used crank driven fans instead. It has only been the past few years that the factories have decided to spend the extra money and use electronic cooling set ups.

This is our 8th year that we have been selling electric fan kits on eBay and we have been installing fan kits from our shops and mobile install trucks for over 12 years on everything from race cars, to municipal vehicles, to plow trucks. We install, we sell, we design, we research. We are starting to see other copy cats popping up. They have done no research, most likely they have never even installed a kit. The worst part is they are using cheap fans that don't have enough CFM and that can not cool an engine the way they should. Anyone who tries to sell you an electric fan kit for a V8 that has a rating of under 2500 CFM is proof that they have no clue what is going on. The smallest V8 out there will need a minimum of 2500 CFM to keep the car cool in summer heat and daily driving. We have seen sellers selling one 14 inch fan rated at 1300 CFM and listing it for a V8 Mustang and the same kit for a Chevy K1500 full size 4x4 truck. This is the problem with copy cats, they don't care if your engine blows because it overheats, they got your money already. You will also find copy cats selling fan kits that use a shroud and use a Spal controller but use cheap china low grade fans, but by the way the auction reads you think your getting everything Spal, wrong your getting cheap low grade china garbage fans. Be sure to ask what brand they use and how many amps they pull and how long is the warranty on the fans, then you will get your answers. Also with a shroud that is flat and covers the radiator completely will actually hurt airflow while the vehicle is moving. This is why on the high grade kits (600.00 and up) that are shrouded you will see there are flaps and air vents built in so when your vehicle is moving the air can still flow through the radiator. Flat aluminum shrouds that cover the entire radiator with no vents will make your vehicle run hotter and cause the fans to run more often then needed because the air gets slammed into a flat wall and can not flow through the rad efficiently. Anyone who tried to sell a full shrouded enclosed system with the only outlets being where the fans are mounted just does not understand cooling systems. They are just out to make a buck. Factory shrouds are not flat, they are concave so when the air flows into the rad it channels out down the slopes with almost no pressure buildup. Watch out for sellers that don't have a clue, ask questions on what brand everything is.

You won't find any tricks or cheap parts with our kits, every one of our kits is over kill, more CFM than what the engine needs, no airflow blockage and low amp draw top quality fans. Every kit we sell is tried and tested in person, hands on in summer temps of 110 degree so you know when you buy a kit from us that it is going to work. Shrouds are not needed with our kits, our kits we put together will cover 85% of the radiator or better, Cadillac , Chevy, Pontiac ,Dodge all have used electric fans without shrouds from the factory. Chevy Corvette, Pontiac Trans Am, Chevy Camaro all used electric fans with no shroud, mounted to the backside of the radiator that only covered less then half the radiator itself. Why? Because a shroud is not needed and on a high performance car it will hamper airflow when the car is driving, this is a proven fact, so don't buy into the shroud theory.

We have had people from Nevada that ask for a kit and if we feel that in the summer months it won't cool that vehicle up to our standards we tell them sorry it's not going to work, stick with your factory setup. Now how many sellers would pass up selling something like this, yeah think about it. We are first class and our feedback tells the story. We don't use cheap low grade made in china fans, we use top of the line parts to insure everything will perform flawlessly.
 
This is an electric cooling fan conversion kit for 1981 - 2007 CHEVY FULL SIZE C AND K SERIES PICK UP TRUCK GAS ONLY (Diesel systems require a much more powerful system, so email us your truck details as we have those FFDynamic systems availabe also).  This has everything needed to convert your crank driven fan to an electric unit which will save you gas and increase your horsepower at the same time, while reducing the amount of stress on your engine. Two cooling fan installation kits to mount the fans to the radiator
One fully adjustable electronic thermostatic cooling fan control module with air conditioning circuit.
 
The FF Dynamics Fans are the newest fans to hit the market. They contain sealed weatherproof motors with dual ball bearings. Custom, reinforced, torch red cages with precision pitched curved S blades for maximum CFM. These are not the cheap Chinese fans that you see all over the net. These are top of the line and will rival Zirgo and Flex-a-lite in quality and performance. These fans are the most powerful fans in its class. The reinforced cages are the strongest in the business. Blade assemblies are fully balanced.
 
The control module will allow you to adjust your fans to turn on at any temperature between 150 and 220 degrees with the turn of a dial. You decide the temp you want the fans to turn on at. This controller will also allow the fans to be turned on automatically when the air conditioning is turned on. This is fully fused and short circuit protected. Very simple hook up, less than 1 hour for people with basic automotive skills. Temperature hook up has a slide through radiator probe to make the install fast and clean. All wires are color coded so the directions are as simple as possible.
 
Past test vehicles picked up from .75 mpg - 2.1 mpg increase in gas mileage (results will vary depending on engine size, transmission type, clutch fan condition etc etc - this is why the test vehicles are so far apart in there gains) although this does not sound like a lot, it will amount to a huge saving over the years, with gas prices edging towards that $4.00 a gallon mark you need every trick you can get.
 
Here's a quick break down so you can see what your savings could be like when we hit $4.00 a gallon.
Basic Chevy C/K gets 15 mpg
It gets driven 320 miles a week
That's 21.35 gallons of gas used weekly
$4.00 x 21.35 gallons = $85.40 weekly
52 weeks in a year = $4441
 
Now we will give the savings for only a 1 mpg increase
Basic Chevy C/K gets 16 mpg
It gets driven 320 miles a week
That's 20.00 gallons of gas used weekly
$4.00 x 20 gallons = $80.00 weekly
52 weeks in a year = $4160 a year in gas
 
So for a 1 mpg gain, in the first year you will save $281.00 in cold hard earned cash. Now keep your Chevy C/K for 5 years and that's a savings of $1401.00.
Pretty much you got paid back 5 times as much as you bought the kit for, not to mention no water pump failure repair bill which would run another $500 right there. This really is a no-brainer.
 
With the price of gas, you can see why this kit will pay for itself in no time and bring back a smile to your face when you hit the gas pedal and feel the increase in power and give you chills when you turn on the icy cold a/c in the summer months (your a/c will blow colder then it ever has). You can have your local mechanic put these in for about an hours labor if you're not mechanically inclined.
