A nice example of a Sabres d´officiers de Chasseurs de Vincennes modele 1838 manufactured at Klingenthal. Lovely blade. Overal nice patina with soome pitting to the blade and scabbard - there is also a hole on the scabbard. The hilt is in perfect condition - hardly shows it´s age at all!

overall lenght in scabbard 95 cm

Blade 2,6 cm wide at widest point

Blade thickness 7mm

ALL STILL VERY STRONG AND FIRM..NOTHING LOOSE OR WEAK.
