For sale is a figurine of a dog made by Nymphenburg during
the original period in the early 20th century. It is a Pekinese I
believe and he is superbly modeled and handpainted. One of the cuter
dogs I have ever seen in porcelain. The dog is 6 inches tall, 4 inches
wide and 8 inches long so rather large. It is marked with the impressed
shield mark underneath with the number 696 over 5 underneath it. Also
marked with the green shield mark with the word Nymphenburg and the
artist initials KS for Konrad Schmid. Also signed by the artist that
painted him on his right back leg TBL or somemthing like that. He is in
great condition with a small painted over chip to the end of one of the
hair extensions by his left front paw that is not obvious at all when on
display. If you like my goodies have a look at my other auctions for a lot more
