This antenna kit comes complete with all coax and leads specifically to suit the modem shown in the title above. Carriers such as Telstra, Optus and Vodafone use for different bands/frequencies for their 3G and 4G services, so this antenna covers all. Listed down the page are the various bands used for 3G and 4G in Australia. Mobile broadband and cell phone services worldwide use bands within the 698-2700MHz range, all covered by this antenna kit.
The Patch Lead and/or Adapter included with this kit suits a number of mobile broadband devices, listed further down the page.
4GX 4G CA MiMo Antenna
Two 11dBi LPDA antennas are mounted at +45° and -45° from vertical to create the "X-Pol" configuration used by all Australian 4G MiMo mobile broadband services.
Many other countries use Horizontal and Vertical polarization for 4G MiMo. The universal brackets supplied allow the antennas to be mounted at whichever polarization is required.
MiMo allows your 4G modem to connect at faster speeds to Telstra, Optus and Vodafone 4G MiMo services.
Also compatible with 4G Carrier Aggregation (4G CA) allowing Category-6 4G modems to connect to two bands simaltaniously. Telstra's 4GX is 4GCA capable in some areas, and will coonect to 700+1800MHz and in future, 700+2600 and even 1800+2600 depending on the service and modem capability.
