This 16 channel full CIF (Common Intermediate Format) resolution H.264 standalone digital video recorder (DVR), EasyDVR 4016T, supports dual video streaming and audio for each of the 4 channels. Dual-streaming allows all 4 channels to record continuously to a local storage, live viewing and real time image upload to a server through the internet without trade-off on image quality. New compression method allows for almost a month of 24x7 recording onto a 500G SATA hard disk for local storage without overwriting.

Product Feature

This is a Sunvision H.264 DVR. It uses the standard H.264 Vdieo Compression. This system can record, playback, and has network capabilities. You can view your DVR from your phone or on another computer as long as you have internet. The system, by default, records at 30 frames per second but can be brought down to hold more data if you wish. It is small and compact for easy storage.

Recording Time

A 500GB Hard drive can last about 4 weeks non stop recording with 4 cameras.
You can increase the time by switching to motion recording. This will only record when there is motion.

Remote Viewing through Phone or PC

For remote viewing through other devices, both must have internet acess to work.
To view on mobile devices or PC, first you need to open ports through your router.
Then go to your DVR to enter the port you have opened. By default the DVR uses port 86 but you can change.
After the first two steps, if you want to view through PC, you download a file and for phone an app.
The rest of the instruction for either devices will come with DVR set.
