Descrizione |
Piccola pianta erbacea perenne con foglie disposte a rosetta
intorno ad un nodo centrale. Possiede foglie allungate con all’estremità un
apparato di cattura molto complesso, costituito da due lamine fogliari munite
di piccoli “denti”. All’interno alcuni piccoli sensori, simili a peli
trasparenti, servono a far scattare la trappola se sfiorati. A primavera la
pianta produce fiori bianchi di piccole dimensioni. |

Il terriccio ideale per la
coltivazione di questa pianta acidofila è la torba acida di sfagno. Non
necessita di fertilizzante che risulterebbe fatale. Predilige esposizione in ambiente
luminoso, ma filtrando la luce diretta del sole. Specie poco rustica, la
temperatura minima ideale è di 5°C. |

Description |
Small perennial herbaceous plant with leaves arranged in a rosette
around a central node. It possesses elongated leaves with a very complex
apparatus of captures, constituted by two leaf blades equipped with small
"teeth". Inside a few small sensors, similar to transparent hairs,
are used to snap the trap if touched. In spring the plant produces small
white flowers. |

Cultivation
requirements |
The ideal soil for the cultivation of this plant is the acid sphagnum
peat. It no need of fertilizer that would be fatal. It prefers light
exposure, but filtering the sunlight. It’s not a hardy species, the ideal minimum temperature is 5°C. |
