These letters are cast aluminum and the backside has recessed hollow channel.
Which makes them great for hanging.
They have areas for straight screws if you want to attach them outside.
I believe them to be powder coated painted.
They do have have a small shimmer or sparkle to them.
They are beautiful. Great for kids rooms or any room for that matter.
They would look great in the shop, garage or man cave.
