Antique ANDREAS HUBER 400 Day Disc Pendulum Torsion Anniversary Clock Circa 1900

This Fine Antique clock is fitted with a time only, key wind, 400 day, unmarked brass German movement, With 2 DRGM # 484408 & 502714 stamped on the back plate they refer to patents for Lantern Pinions & Pin Pallets - Huber was the only maker to use the loop end anchor pin - The 2 3/4" celluloid dial is marked "GERMANY" w/ fancy black Arabic numbers and slender black spade hands these are excellent original examples - The clock stands 10 1/2" high on a 6 7/8" diameter base - The escapement is pin pallet and with lantern pinions - It has its original disc pendulum ( This pendulum is a little different than others the cage at on the top is stamped and rolled) - This is a very nice, restored, original, example of a rare and hard to find early Huber torsion clock - Since the clock has just been serviced and restored, it is in excellent running order and keeps good time - The bottom plate on the pendulum was plated brass over steel was in bad shape so I had to sand and paint that part of the pendulum - However, since it is an antique, it is being sold with no warranty or guarantee - This clock was made before suspension guards, so I will remove the suspension for safety in shipping - Some adjustment may be needed after shipping - It is in excellent overall condition - The brass case has a nice polished patina - It does have a key and a replacement dome - Selling "as is" - Great addition to any clock collection or early torsion clock collection!!
