This is a one-of-a-kind Swift Suit prototype custom made by Nike for U.S. Track & Field Legend Michael Johnson, and tested by him during the 2000 olympic trials. This is one of the very first Swift Suits ever made by Nike for testing along with 3 others made for Marion Jones, Maurice Greene, and Australia's Cathy Freeman who later made headlines by winning a gold medal wearing the futuristic looking swift suit. Here is the evolution of the swift suit from Nike's website. Notice the similarities and differences between the prototype and the finished suit designed for the 2000 games.

I am a reseller and found this suit while picking. I have no official documentation but I believe if you look at the photos and read the articles I link to this suit authenticates itself. I have tried contacting Nike but have received no response. I live in and found this in Oregon; which is where Nike headquarters is and where this suit was tested. There are no photos that I can find on the internet of Michael Johnson wearing the suit. I think he didn't like the way it looked. There are a lot of photo's of Marion Jones wearing one in the 2000 Prefontaine Classic. I have included one of these photos. Here is an article from June 23, 2000 about the debut of the Swift Suit. Notice How the photos of Marion Jones' and Cathy Freeman's suits there are hoods but the Michael Johnson suit does not. I found this article from July 21, 2000 explaining the inconsistency. It states how Michael Johnson refused to wear the suit saying, "I don't do hoods", so Nike went back and made him one without a hood.

The suit shows some signs of usage. Not too much wear but some small stains, possibly sweat stains. they are mostly unnoticeable except up close. This suit is one-of-a-kind, collectible, and historical for so many reasons. I will personally fully guarantee the authenticity of this suit forever.
