The original printed manual is in French but you might not need it. Its very easy and user friendly. However, we can e-mail you the English version of the manual. This unit is equipped with HDMI output that lets you have High definition upscaling and enjoy picture like Blu-ray. Very easy and user friendly unit. Record your favorite program on HDD and copy on to DVDs or store you DVD into the hard drive. You’d enjoy the versatile use of this machine. The unit is in excellent condition and working 100%. It plays and records DVD-/+R, DVD-/+RW DVD. It can also record up to 455 hours program into its 160 GB hard drive.

    The FACE is and the cabinet are in excellent shape. You may find some very light marks on the top of the cab for being stacked in the shelf but nothing major and no dent or paint rubs. Both the DVD Tray and the front lid of the unit open & close smooth. Hinges are working smooth. All buttons of the remote work as it should. The display is digital and no dead segment in there. The Hard Drive operates fast and no freezing picture. It’s a fully working and extremely well maintained unit by the original owner. Yet, we cleaned it inside and out esp. the fan has been completely cleaned which is necessary to keep the unit cool. These newer models DVRs don't require any lense cleaning as they come in a closed enclosure that helps maintain the eye remain dust free. Meantime, from our real life user experience, we would like to advise you to consider these items just like your desktop computer. When you power it on, please allow time to get started by itself and similarly, when you power it off by remote, please allow time to shut it off by itself- not to unplug the power cord when actions are in progress.
