This is a grand example of an Asahi Pentax SP1000 Camera with Photax-Paragon 1:2.8/28 Lens.   The camera has a detachable carry strap and comes in a case.

The camera shows signs of an active life and there is a dink in the prism head.   The strap and case are worn but are still useful and provide great protection for the camera .  Also, the case and camera body have a number daubed on them.   There is some bloom in the optics and the meter has not been tested.   The picture capture and wind on mechanisms both function smoothly.   Please also see the photographs which show the condition of the camera and case.
