Description This adorable little doll is made from composite - a combination of glue, sawdust, plaster and sometimes clay and other materials! It is very nicely made, with jointed legs and arms, and a fixed head. The clothes are well made, and sewn on; the shoes and socks are painted on. I think it is a Swiss Alpine boy - the fabric is a very soft fabric with an embroidered Edelweiss flower on the front (Edelweiss is the national flower of Switzerland). He has wonderful blond mohair, and a charming cap. He is wearing a tie with a patterned shirt. The little doll stands 5 1/4" tall, The hat is red felt, with a green cord. There are no breaks or damage, and the features are hand painted. Sometimes red photographs as black - in the up close photo of his head, one nostril looks black and one is red - both are actually red. There is one small mark on his face that is much more visible in the photo than in person. It is overall an excellent miniature vintage doll from the 1930's.

Shipping All items are shipped within 24 hours of payment! I try and recycle packaging materials as much as I can. I hate adding more garbage to the environment; if you receive a box from me that has been used before, I am "recycling". I will make sure it's sturdy and the item well packaged. I will ensure your item will arrive in good condition, but the box may not be pretty (or it might be - I have to buy boxes, as well). All shipping within the US is free to you. All my packages are tracked, but if for some reason you don't receive your item or it arrives broken, I will refund your money.
