The foundations for the Black Sheep Skate Shop were laid over 20 years ago with the now infamous "Split Skates" which helped in forming the history of the Manchester skateboard scene, we know we have our roots firmly in place. We employ people who love what they do and that includes Professional skateboarders and Bmx riders who carry a vast knowledge about everything we sell. From there we went on to open Manchester’s only 10,000 sq ft indoor skatepark called "Central Skatepark" to support the local scene in what’s probably the Nations wettest city, Manchester. After an amazing eight years we closed our skatepark because of the amount of skateparks that have been developed over the years in or around Manchester. We now have a new home in the heart of Manchesters Northern Quarter at Dale Street just off Piccadilly Gardens.

The Black Sheep Store is proud to have won the European title "The Best Skate Shop Team" in Europe twice after competing with 300 shop teams as far as Israel and coming out on top at the Vans Shop Rio !
