Application:

  • Start by prepping your project as you would any other paint job. (Sand, Prime, etc.)
  • Apply 2-3 coats of Base coat.
  • Use a nozzel 1.4mm or above.
  • Add the flake to a Clear base coat or lacquer and stir well. Depending on how heavy you want the flake effect, will depend on how much you will need.
  • Apply the flake untill you get the effect you desire. (Always spray test panels before spraying you product or project to see the effect you want)
  • Apply lacquer untill the flake is fully covered and you have full Gloss.

Other sellers have put a disclaimer on the bottom of their advertisement to say that they will not be held responsible for your flake discolouration if you mix the hardener to the wrong consistency and if the thinners are not mixed properly, or even if you use a fast drying hardener, saying that you will get discolouration from solvent

If this is happening then this means that they are not automotive solvent and light proof flakes as stated, they are water based flakes, paint jobs can be ruined by this discolouration and fade over a few months, by this time feedback has been left and you have no come back, you get what you pay for ?, would you spend a couple of quid for flakes on your car, I wouldn’t, so buyers beware.

All of our flakes are the real deal, not the cheapest but without a doubt the very best flakes you can buy, they can all be added safely to any solvent based products, and if you do get your mixing wrong your flakes won’t be damaged as with the very cheap flakes.
