The Euro bumper front and/or Rear Conversion was recognized as extremely desirable by US owners seeking to eliminate the bulbous bumpers on all US-market cars.

One of the side benefits of making the rear bumper conversion was the ability to install these excellent foglamps within the bumper beam recesses - with 4x the candlepower of regular rear brake lights, these foglamps would have made a far more practical and safety-conscious addition to US models than the 3rd brake light introduced here in 1986!

If you are contemplating making a Euro bumper conversion on the models specified above, these lamps are a 'must' buy - or if you already have Euro bumpers, here's a lo-cost spares opportunity. Although all US models are pre-wired for these foglamps, they will not fit unless you have the [steel, not aluminum] Euro rear bumper beam.
