Vacu Vin was established as a company in 1986 in order to manufacture and distribute the Wine Saver Pump and Vacuum Bottle Stoppers. The idea for the product emanated directly from the taste of spoiled wine - something that its inventors wanted to prevent once a bottle had been opened. The Vacu Vin Wine Saver was the first device of its kind that was available to the international market. It is now used in over 35 million households and more than 80 countries throughout the world. The award-winning device has been repeatedly imitated by numerous other manufacturers, but the Vacu Vin Wine Saver is still recognised as the market leader. The Wine Saver is a vacuum pump that extracts the air from an opened wine bottle and re-seals it using a rubber stopper. The air-tight vacuum inhibits the oxidation process that is responsible for the deterioration of wine. The vacuum is created by placing a stopper into the neck of the opened bottle and pumping it until resistance is detectable. The pump incorporates a patented 'click' mechanism that indicates when a sufficient air-tight environment has been establsihed. The Vacu Vin Wine Saver is suitable for all but sparkling wines. It is highly durable and easy to clean via wiping with warm water and conventional detergents (if necessary).

Your order will be dispatched the same working day for orders placed before 2pm (business days) or the next working business day if placed after 2pm. Standard service is by 3-5 working day courier - however you can see from our feedback the courier is often much faster!  Occasionally, the courier may be subject to their own delays and we will, of course, chase them on your behalf!  Please contact us through eBay Messages and will will do our utmost to assist you.
 
We offer a 48 hour service for £2.99 and a 24 hour service for £12.95.
 
In the very unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during post, then WE are responsible and will issue either a full refund or replacement.  Please contact us through eBay messages to enable us to deal with your enquiry quickly and effectively.
 
International shipping is only available through the eBay Global Shipping Programme.
 
Shipping is not available to PO Boxes, postage can not be combined and there is no local pick up available.
 
Some items can only be dispatched to the UK Mainland due to restrictions put in place by our couriers.
 
We are unable to send to a different address, please do not ask us to.  This is for buyer and seller protection and is imposed by both eBay and Paypal.  Requests to send to a different address will result in your order being cancelled.

If you have changed your mind or would like to return a non-faulty item: Returning unwanted non-faulty goods is very simple. If you decide you are not happy with your purchase, simply contact us and we will process your request. A refund will be processed accordingly for non-faulty items which are returned back to our warehouse in the same condition that they arrived to you with the original packaging. The product would need to be returned unused and unmarked within 30 days of receiving the item. Please note, flat packed products once assembled cannot be returned or refunded. It is the responsibility of the customer to make sure that the item is returned in sufficient packaging to protect the item from any possible transit damage. Due to the item not being faulty the buyer will be responsible for the return postage costs. If goods are faulty or damaged upon receipt: Faulty goods must be reported to us within 7 working days of receipt with photographic evidence and then returned to us with the original packaging (we advise you retain the original packaging until you are completely satisfied with your purchase), you will then be entitled to a full refund or a replacement if the goods are in fact deemed to be defective. Please note, we will require photographic evidence of any faults/damages reported to us. When receiving the delivery from our couriers we always recommend that you check the condition of the packaging. Should you find that the parcel damaged or tampered with we encourage you to sign for the parcel as "damaged" and refuse the delivery. If something is missing: We can easily resolve missing parts, but they must be reported within 3 working days of delivery. All you need to do is provide the correct information and missing part number/letter as stated on the assembly sheet. We will arrange for the requested part to be dispatched. If your item becomes faulty after 30 days: We will endeavour to help assess your eligibility to file a claim under your manufactures warranty. Refunds can only be processed following a successful return/cancellation, please allow time for this process. Your patience is appreciated.
