These instruments (the form of bits alike with cat paw) are used by the professional  flower-makers of China and Japan. These two countries developed this art to incredible heights of tediousity, beauty and quality.

Working with this Asian instruments differs from working with European ones. With these tools you can make so smooth and plastic lines on the fabric one could mistake the outcome it with real flowers. The kit works perfectly on medium-hard cushion by making on the fabric motions towards and very rarely away from yourself.

1 - Double knife - a specialized tool used in the processing of the leaves and is indispensable in making chrysanthemums, daisies and other multi-petal flowers.

2 - Double ultrathin knife (2 mm)

3,4 - Triple and quad-knives - specialized tools designed to goffer the surface, used in making f chrysanthemums, roses and other multi-petal flowers. Chrysanthemums made by this tool come out in a ball shape. One or another knife should be used depending on what width petals you want. They make beautiful «ribs» on petals for large flowers, such as irises and tulips, goffer inner surfaces of the petals of poppies, irises, canna lilies, orchids, gladioluses and others.

5,6,7,8 - ultrathin (2-3 mm), small (4 mm width), medium (6 mm width) and wide ( 8 mm width) bits are used for making leaves of roses, orchids, poppies, peonies and other flowers . Very useful in creating the actual leaf shape as well as on the petal edges making it perfectly goffered.

These bits work by making slow motions on fabric towards yourself with a little pressure on the handle of the instrument. It creates beautiful deep lines.

These tools not only used in Japanese and Chinese techniques of flower making, but also in Europe. It is a perfect professional addition to your main set of tools.

How to use soldering iron:

you just insert the tool into heating source of soldering iron,fix it by the screw and put it out after work is finished.
You can change the instruments in the hot soldering iron, it is not necessary to stop work over a flower, you just turn off the soldering iron, pull out the tool by the pliers and insert the next one, then plug it in and wait for heating it up.
