The BlackVue DR650 Dash Camera captures high-quality footage of everything you see on the road. It’s designed to help you document driving accidents, parking accidents, hit and runs, insurance fraud, and other scenarios so that everyone is held accountable for their actions. It features 360-degree rotation, built-in WiFi connectivity, GPS, and a low-profile design to act as your witness for any unexpected event you encounter while at the wheel. The accompanying app allows you to easily sort, play, and save your captured video right from your smartphone.
Both the front and rear facing camera’s on the BlackVue DR650 exhibit exceptional picture quality—the front camera shoots in full 1080p HD, while the rear camera shoots 720p HD. Easy to install, and discreet enough that they won’t be seen from the outside, both cameras record simultaneously so you’ll never miss a thing. You can even monitor your vehicle when it’s parked (within WiFi range). In Parking Mode, the BlackVue will start recording when the G-sensor registers an impact exceeding your set limit, letting you capture every hit-and-run without having to sort through days of video. The device also supports up to a 128GB microSD card for so you won’t have to constantly delete video to clear up space.
With BlackVue’s new Over the Cloud feature, you can now watch the video feed from your DR650 anywhere in the world. No longer just a WiFi transmitter, the WiFi module has been upgraded to function as both a transmitter and receiver. Simply connect the DR650 to a WiFi hotspot and you can view the feed on your smartphone through BlackVue’s app. (Requires firmware update.)
