Yamaha AD824 Eight 8 Channel Microphone Preamp A/D Converter PM5D Preamps

Sleeper preamp unit from Yamaha for sale. This unit has the same preamps and converters used in the PM5D digital console($50K new). To use the conversion you will need to get an output card for either AES(MY8-AE) ADAT (MY8-AT), TDIF(MY8-TD) or MLAN(MY8-MLAN). As is, the unit can be used as an 8-channel mic preamp. I have the manual for this in PDF format and can email to the new owner. Each channel has individual phantom power and balanced TRS output for just using the preamps with another converter/soundcard. 

Unit in good working condition. Some scuffs and scratches on the unit. Internal memory battery was just replaced this month, so the unit will properly save gain settings.
