Like nearly all the high end vintage analog synths we sell, this item has been METICULOUSLY disassembled, cleaned inside and out, FULLY serviced by professionals who’ve been servicing and selling vintage synths for the last 2 decades, and systematically tested multiple times over a long period to ensure it’s working exactly as it should. No BS. No ebay surprises. We are perfectionists and don’t cut corners. Although this instrument came to us in relatively good shape, we want our items to be better than others on the market and paid our tech for 24 hours of tech time plus parts costs to fully overhaul this unit so it would be clean, working like new again and as reliable as possible for its next owner. This was a serious investment of time, love, and money, and was definitely worth the effort (and this is reflected in the higher than usual price). If you’re looking for a great sounding example of this model that works just like it should without needing to invest thousands of dollars in tech fees, this one should make you very happy.
Aries Modulars are quite rare. They were designed in the 1970s by Dennis Colin (RIP), the designer of the ARP 2600 (which we’re selling too), and they sound incredible. You can find the original demo record for the Aries here:

This Aries system is in great shape for a used item of its type and age. It was assembled by a Bell Labs engineer (in other words, someone who was very qualified to assemble electronics from kits) and contains more modules than most Aries modulars we’ve seen, with a total of 14 modules. Our tech spent over 24 hours fully cleaning and overhauling it and the end result is a perfectly working example and perhaps the most beautiful Aries system out there. We feel this system should make anyone looking for a used Aries System very happy. It's a real pleasure to play. The shipping calculator here is inaccurate. You will be responsible for ACTUAL insured shipping costs as well as packing. Cost will be calculated after the sale and will be high, especially for international shipment as we ship UPS and they’re expensive, though they’ve never let us down. Packing for the synth and keyboard will be $70.00. This item will ship within approximately 2 weeks of when we receive full payment. International customers - we won’t falsely declare the value of this item, so please don’t ask.
PAYMENT TERMS: Upon using the buy it now option, please send us a $200 hold deposit via paypal immediately and we will put this item on hold for you. Next, please send us your name, address, phone number and e-mail address and we will send you a proforma invoice. Once we send this invoice, please send a wire transfer of the balance due to our business bank account within 72 hours. If we don’t receive these payments within the specified time frames, we reserve the right to file an unpaid bid report and cancel this sale and relist this item. SHIPPING SCHEDULE:
-Many of the items we sell are big and fragile & have special packing requirements. We pack and ship only 1 day a week and delays can sometimes occur, so expect us to ship your item within 1-2 weeks. If you're in a hurry, please don't buy from us as we don't want to disappoint you.
-If you leave feedback, we expect you to give us a perfect scores for shipping time and cost since we make our policies clear in advance and what you pay for shipping is approximately what we will have to pay.
