Refurbished Wood Case FM Valve Radio Sold for Display or Repair Only

Beautiful looking set that's benefited on having wood case refurbished and now shines as new, the original speaker cloth has been washed, the dial was washed and polished, knobs were scrubbed, the set now looks very smart. Inside is also very clean, all wires are in good condition, dial bulbs are nice and bright.

This has been on display with my other radios for the past five years but never used. Today I have switched on but although all the knobs work and the dial lights up I cannot get any sound from her. The speaker clicks when I change the wavebands but that's the only sound. I am sure this is a very simple fix for someone that knows what he or she is doing. This set is being sold for display or repair only.

Because of the age of the set please be aware that it would have had a long life and would have picked up the occasional scratch and stain on the way.

This set when working sounds great and benefits on having the FM waveband.

I am also selling the same model radio on another listing but that is my everyday radio and looks and sounds fantastic but I must make room.

I apologise for the high cost of delivery but I take particular attention to the packing of my items. I use copious amounts of bubble wrap and use a substantial cardboard box so as no damage will happen during transit. When you open the package you will understand.
