A superb pair of vintage Paris biscuit porcelain Vion et Baury figures, dating to around 1860.
The male figure measuring 10" tall and the female 9¼" tall.
Beautifully decorated in subtle colours mainly in matt typical of this sought after factory.
Overall in superb clean condition with just a couple of things to report.
The lady has lost her little finger on one hand.
The gentleman has had some professional restoration to his right hand and the end of his right shoe has been restored.
There is also a very small patch of green paint loss to his jacket.
Otherwise no chips cracks or other restorations.
Both carry the 'VB' blue makers mark patch to the underside with the gentleman showing 'BAURY' to the plinth.
Both are also incised with the number '141' and the letter 'D' showing they are a true pair.
A super pair of figurines.
