ITEM DESCRIPTION:

In this auction we are presenting an awesome Waltham Vanguard Model 1892 23 jewels top grade pocket watch with 14K Tri-Color Solid Gold Box Hinge Case. This is really a wonderful speciman that you don't want to miss out, it comes with a spectacular stag on the back cover and the Model 1892 Vanguard 23j movement is truly wonderful. The movement boast all solid gold jewel settings, solid gold balance screws, beautiful demaskeening, and all temperature/position adjustment. Even the double-sunk enamel dial is extra special with Roman numeral 12hr markers and 24hr inner Arabic markers in block fonts. Last but not least even the bow has a 14K solid gold hallmark, the entire weight of the watch is massive at 146.7 grams! Condition-wise the watch is running strong but we've not tested it extensively and we do not know its service history so we cannot guarantee timekeeping accuracy or longevity. Cosmetically the dustcover has a ding near the opening lip. The beautiful box hing 14K Tri-color Solid Gold Hunting Case is nearly free of defect except for slight wear from 100 years+ worth of usage. The double sunk enamel dial is mint with no hairline or crack, all three blue steel hands are original and the hour hand spade section has a bit of scratch. The movement surface is truly mint with no sign of rust anywhere. Overall the condition is great and this truly exceptional timepiece is rarely seen. SOLD AS IS with NO RESERVE, good luck.

PAYMENT

Paypal accepted. Payment must be made/sent in 72hrs/3days after the end of auction. If you plan to send a personal check, 5 business days will be required to clear. Please contact us ahead of time if you have any questions regarding payment, thank you. Item will be shipped the next business day after receiving payment.

SHIPPING

For domestic shipping we only used priority mail. Shipping cost listed uses 3 days priority mail delivery. Overnight shipping will be available upon request.

International buyers accepted but please note that by default any item over $200USD will only be sent with EMS along with insurance and all items under $200USD is required to be sent with USPS priority mail. All items are required to include insurance in which the cost will depend on the ending value of the item. By nature of the transaction we reserve the right to declare full value on customs. Less secure shipping methods can be requested by the buyer where the buyer will assume all responsibility if the shipment is damaged, destroyed, lost, or anything bad happens to it. Other shipping methods can only be applied with buyer sending a liability waiver email to the seller to release the seller of any responsibility when the shipment has problem. Buyer will also be required to provide positive feedback before the item ships. Please contact us before the auction ends so we can estimate international shipping cost.

RETURN

Return can be made if the item received significantly deviate from the lot description and must be made within 3 days after receiving item. Any doubts must be addressed during auction period. We will not accept returns based on arguments that comes after the bidding ends. In case a return is granted, buyer must return the item to me first before reimbursement is made. Reimbursement will not include shipping costs. Request for returns made on the basis of claiming items are NOT AS DESCRIBED will be subjected to a 15% restocking fee and no refund will be given to original shipping cost. Please note that we ALWAYS CLEARLY DESCRIBE our items and if it's our error then we will provide unconditional FULL REFUND.
