Cybertimer – A proto Victorinox knife produced in the late 1990s.

This listing is intended for a collector with a display case. Ordinary Swiss Army knife users should turn back now ...

This knife comes out of the vault.  It stands near the pinnacle of my personal collection.

It is
a prototype of a Cybertool/Supertimer hybrid.  Only five were produced based on the Cybertool 34.  Two were sold on eBay in 1999-2000.  Three are still accounted for, and one of those is the item in this listing.

One more proto-knife was made based on the Swisschamp XLT.  Since it is truly one of a kind, it is not for sale.  (As they say, Eat your heart out. :) )

The knife for sale is in pristine, factory-fresh condition -- 9.8 (or better) out of 10.  The outer scales are unhandled and have their original luster. The blades are unused and super-shiny.

Note: When viewed closeup under a bright light, tiny scuffs and micro scratches can be made to appear.  Often, these are factory marks resulting from the Victorinox manufacturing process.

The gift box and paperwork are from the Cybertools of the late 1990s. The box and papers are also in excellent 9.8/10 condition.  They are super crisp and shiny.

Like any Supertimer, the Cybertimer does not have the tweezers, the space for which is used by the watch.
Given the knife’s age, I do not guarantee the viability of the pen. This is a standard, easily replaced part.

The photos are of the actual knife. It comes exactly as shown.  It will be shipped with insurance and will require a signature for delivery.

The knife comes with your choice of color for the watch. One can choose red, which is the traditional color of the Supertimer, or black, which matches other components of the Cybertool.  Personally, I think black is the better choice as it compliments the two-tone look of the Cybertool.  For an additional $25, you may have both watches.

The knife will arrive with the watch(es)
accurately ticking to USA Eastern Time.  A relatively new battery will be pre-installed.  An additional new Duracell battery will be included.

The purchase of a rare knife such as this is like buying a new car. As soon as you actually “use it,” it will lose about one third of its value.  This means if you put the knife in your pocket or knife pouch, the handles will sufficiently scuff such that it will no longer be considered pristine.  (Please -- don't pouch this knife.)

See my listings for more rare Swiss Army knives that should never actually be used.
