If you are having difficulty selecting gears, crunching, or gears popping out of place then the adjustment of the gear selector rod may be incorrect and using this tool will help set it back to factory position.

If you have changed or refurbished your bushes and still can't get the right gears then you need to use this tool to set the selector rod up correctly. 

I have had these made myself using good quality steel and laser cutting to give a great fitment to allow you to adjust your gear stick location on your MK2 Golf. 

The tool is durable and well made and fits directly into the position between the reverse selector bar and the small tap fitted to the gear stick. Please see the pictures to see the quality and perfect fit of the tool.
