SERVICE
Product Description
- All electrical connections must be performed by a qualified electrician in compliance with all applicable national and local codes.
- Danger risk of electric shock connect only to a circuit protected by a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI).
- To prevent the risk of electrocution, check heater for proper ground connection. the thermostat must be properly grounded with a conductor equal to or greater than the power supply conductors.
- Before making any electrical connection or during installation and service make certain that the electrical power is turned off at the source or circuit breaker and take measures that it CANNOT accidentally be turned on again.
- Do not allow any electrical appliances (such as lights, telephone, hair dryer, radio or television) in the bathtub, 1.5 meters (5 feet) or less.
- The thermostat should not be used in salt water, acidic water or alkaline water, can not be used in other places chemically corrosive gases or solvents.

Thermostat
is designed specifically for the needs of the Jacuzzi, the thermostat
installed in the bottom of the tub on the massage tub, after adding hot
water in the bath, start the water pump, the thermostat automatically
heating insulation, the bath water temperature maintained at 30-40℃
adjustable, it can give your massage bathtub to create a comfortable
environment.
Thermostat equipped with ultra-high temperature protection thermostat switch, thermostat to limit overheating and protect users against danger, however, users should be done after the installation is complete, the first under the premise of safety checks to ensure that the operation of the thermostat's normal function, by using the tub filled with water to a suitable level and start the system automatically checks and let the system run until the thermostat temperature stabilized at the highest level and display lights go out, use an accurate thermometer to measure the water temperature should be at 40°C.
Operation Instruction:
Normal Operation:
The operation of the thermostat is fully automatic. When installed properly it will turn ON after user have set the temperature by turning the controlling switch clockwise, then the heating-up indicator turns on. As long as the thermostat is on, it will heat up the water to the user-set level and maintain the temperature. User can turn the controlling switch anticlockwise to a temperature lower than the current water temperature to turn OFF the thermostat, and the heating-up indicator turns off. There is no separate heat controller for user.
Heating Rate:
The 220V/3KW thermostat is designed to efficiently maintain the water temperature of a standard bathtub at the preset level of 40℃ (104℉). However, if starting with cold water, the thermostat will increase the temperature at a rate of 6 to 8℃ (11 to 14℉) per hour, depending on the initial water temperature, the room temperature, and the size of the bathtub.
Heating Up:
Once turned ON the thermostat stays ON until the temperature reaches the preset temperature, and then it will turn OFF automatically. It will stay OFF until the temperature drops a few degrees below the preset value, then it will turn back ON. the thermostat continues this ON/OFF cycle for as long as the pump is ON. The indicating lamp is located marks HEATER place.
High Temperature Protection/Reset Button:
In addition to the regulating thermostat, the thermostat is equipped with a manual reset High Temperature Protection to protect the user against the hazards of high temperatures. In the event of water or the thermostat enclosure reaching temperatures of higher than 49℃(120℉) because of blockage or other reasons, the High Temperature Protection will trip(interrupt power) immediately. In order to reset, let the water cool down to approximately 38℃ (100℉), then simply push the Reset Button on the top panel. the thermostat should resume operation in the normal manner.
Lack-water protection:
The thermostat is equipped with a pressure-sensing switch that protects the thermostat against the hazard of running the system without water. If the water level is low at the beginning or drops low during the operation (water pressure is lower than 20KPa (about 2000mmHO2) the pressure sensing switch will interrupt power. Heater can only come ON when the water is at the appropriate level (water pressure is above 20KPa) and the water pump is running.
Mechanical installation:
Under no circumstances should any of the outlet (side) ports be closed. Water must flow through both ports when the thermostat is on. At the same time, inlet of heater must be installed perfectly matching to the outlet of water pump to give maximum water flow. Try to ensure that a minimum length of piping is maintained between the thermostat and any opening to the tub. Take off the joint on the outlet/inlet of the thermostat. Glue one side of the joint to the pipe tightly first, then hand tighten the other side to the outlet/inlet of the thermostat. After the installation of the water pump, heater and fitting system, a complete draining must take place, no water is allowed.
Electrical installation:
When using electrical products basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:
Power supply:
Provides the suitable power line according to the thermostat. Connect the provided 220V, 3 wires with grounding branch circuit to a suitable junction box near the thermostat. The power supply should be 220V/50Hz. The blue wire should be connected to L terminal, orange wire should be connected to N terminal and the yellow and green wire should be connected to the ground terminal.
