Camera mounting plate

My Panigale is used for track days and when placing the camera on the fuel tank it seemed always to be in the way. 

I was either knocking it with my helmet or pressing on it with my chest when tucked in behind the screen.

There wasn't another suitable place to put the camera which would still get a good view of the dash.

The solution I found was to have a plate CNC manufactured to mount the camera on.

It's sturdy and stable putting the camera in a position which eliminates the need to use many extension arms which can cause vibration of the camera.

The mount requires no drilling and utilises existing bolt holes, simple and quick to fit.

 I use a Go Pro camera but I'm sure it could be used for other makes.

Mounting plate is CNC precision profiled from 4 mm aluminium.

Matches the top fork clamp finish. 

Doesn't look out of place on what is a expensive and great looking motorcycle.   

Allows action camera to be mounted onto a secure and stable base.

If you want to capture that perfect lap with a clear view of the dash and track

 without any vibration you need this mounting. 

It is the buyer or end users responsibility to ensure the mounting for the camera is secure on the mounting plate.

As with mounting a camera anywhere on a motorcycle please use a security tether.
