Reluctantly offering an old friend, my cherished West German made Sachs-Dolmar 112 chainsaw.  I purchased this brute in the mid to late 1980's from a local power equipment dealer, who was going out of business.  At the time, I was using a Poulan 3600 saw, and yes, that was a time Poulan actually made a good saw.  That saw was used from 1978, till the mid 1990's, when the auto oiler went out.  I broke out the Sachs shortly after, and used it for family firewood gathering for 3 or 4 years.  It was at that time, my body started wearing thin, had a heat pump installed, and retired from the firewood scene.  This saw has been used sparingly since, only fired up and maintained to keep her loose.  EVERY part on this saw is original, save the start rope, air filter, and the main fuel line, which had developed some age cracking.  Those parts were replaced by me around 6 or 7 years ago, and as you will see, they are still as new.  I never intended to let this workhorse go, but Father Time, and my wife, say I need to do it.  Before my wife took these pictures, I pulled out the choke, pulled 3 times, it barked on the third, pushed the choke in, pulled one more time, and she fired up, just like she's done for the last 25/30 years.  This is the sweetest saw ever made, but that's my biased opinion.  She's a man's saw, weighing in at around 16 to 17 pounds.  She sports the original 17" bar, with the third chain that was ever put on.  This saw could be easily restored to look like new, if you're a chainsaw enthusiast.  Shipping will be a flat $30 bucks, anywhere in the U.S.A..  No international sales.    Payment with PAYPAL only, please.  THANKS for reading her story, and THANKS for looking!
