That's right me hardies this is the one item to get to keep ol' Davey Jones on his toes (er...claw). This is a prop replica of the key drawing used by Capin' Jack Sparrow to find the key to open Davy Jones' chest from the mega blockbuster film PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN DEAD MAN'S CHEST. We've rendered the prop by studying, screen shots from the epic motion picture. It also includes the tally marks in the corner of the piece representing the many long days either Captain Jack or the poor soul he obtained it from stayed in that retched prison. While we are not certain of the actual screen used material we have used real suede figuring that this drawing would have seen all types of wind and weather and historically this kind of material would have been used. Animal hide has often been used throughout the ages in document keeping. The piece has been weathered to give it that 100 years at the mast look. It measures roughly 8X10 which is about right looking at the screen shots of Mr. Turner & Captain Jacks hands holding said item. We are an up and coming replica house and take pride in the items we produce so each comes with a numbered C.O.A. from MV-CREATIONS.
