Der Sonoff RF ist ein Smart Home Funkschalter der in nahezu jedes Home Automation System integriert werden kann. Das Herzstück ist ein ESP8266 der für Ewelink als Cloudsystem vor konfiguriert ist.
Der ESP8266 kann jedoch mit eigener Firmware bespielt werden womit sich unzählige Möglichkeiten eröffnen. Es gibt auch einige Open Source Projekte die Firmware für den Sonoff RF entwickelt haben.
Beim Sonoff RF verfügt der Schalter auch über einen 433Mhz Empfänger der mit einer Fernbedienung verbunden werden kann.
Die Fernbedienung ist nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten.
