A TV-7D/U is a dynamic mutual conductance type service tube tester with a meter graduated from 0-120. This is not 0-120 percent. The numbers on a TV-7D/U meter are relative to the test settings in the set-up manual. For many amplifier tubes these test numbers can be converted to micromhos (mho) for relative comparison. Most service type testers will vary with each other in readings and from laboratory or factory testers due to testing parameters. The readings stated above are what my tester shows. It has been completely refurbished, upgraded and calibrated by one of the best and is checked for calibration on a regular basis.
