Vintage French Retro Wall Clock

This is a pretty cream wind up wall clock from the French brand Bayard, dating from around the mid 20th Century. It is made of Formica. 

This clock needs to be repaired/restored for it to work. We've tried to wind it up, to no avail. We haven't opened it up as we aren't specialists in this area, and thought it would be a shame to damage it any further. 

The front glass panel opens up so that you can move the hands and wind up the clock. There is the wind up key included. 

There are a few signs of wear. Mainly scratches on all surfaces and general wear and tear.
