Ivory in color with a red velvet lid.  Not sure what went in the interior where the cardboard is, maybe nothing.  The base measures 5" at the front edge and goes narrower in the back, so 4 3/8" at back edge.   Sides are 4".  Height is 1.75".  Hinge works well.
