Rare & Fine Continental Walnut Lidded Coffer / Cassone 

Richly carved and a fine piece, circa 18th century, probably Italian, the rectangular top above central panel of griffins, gadrooned border, raised on paw feet,

43cm high x 72cm wide x 38cm deep.

CONDITION:

Great overall condition, for a piece of  considerable age and use. Usual signs of wear, signs of historic very old wood worm (no longer present) not an issue, just commensurate with a piece of this age. Please review the photographs, as they are integral to the description.
