This listing is for an authentic Ukrainian beech wood trousseau small trunk  "Kurta Lada". The type of carving and decoration and the trunk itself belong to Hutsul ethnic group of Ukraine. This trunk is dated 1890-1900 years. The name of the master is unknown. The "Kurta Lada" is a very rare museum exemplar. The main symbols are the Hutsul Cross and Thunder Wheels - "Seeds of Life", that are also the symbols of a pagan god Perun - master of a thunder and a lightning. This trunk has no serious splits, there are some tiny wood bug dots on the trunk, and it is in a very good condition, for it's age. Please see the photos. The "Kurta Lada", like almost all our items is a ukrainian folk treasure, and this is an incredible outfit for a serious collector.
