What makes this guitar special: A great playing American Vintage model with outstanding playability and stellar tone, finished in a rare and very hard to find Dakota Red. The nicely rounded neck profile makes maneuvering up and down the fingerboard a breeze for both chording and lead lines, while the single-coil pickups deliver crisp and biting tone, with a 3-way switch allowing plenty of tonal possibilites. It comes professionally setup and inspected our in-house luthier, so you can be sure it will arrive ready to play.

Cosmetic condition: Very good overall condition, with various dents, dings, nicks, chips, and surface scratches present throughout the guitar, as well as some light buckle rash on the back of the body. There is a notable chip in the finish and an accompanying dent on the side of the guitar beneath the jack. There is a small crack in the pickguard beneath the bridge, and the upper left corner of the back tremolo cover has chipped off as well. Frets do show some wear, but still have a ton of life left in them.

Body: Contoured double cutaway alder body in rare Dakota Red finish with single ply white pickguard and 6-screw tremolo bridge.

Weight: 8lb, 2oz

Neck: Nicely rounded maple neck with black side dots, black dot inlays, and skunk stripe. Maple fingerboard is in great shape and frets are in good shape too, with plenty of life left in them. Headstock features a cursive Fender logo and vintage-style nickel tuners in perfect working condition. 1 11/16” nut width, 25 1/2" scale length. Neck is straight and plays great up and down the fingerboard.

Electronics: 3 single-coil pickups (Bridge-5.85K ohms, Middle-5.87K ohms, Neck-6.14K ohms) with 3-way pickup selector switch and skirted white knobs, 2x tone, 1x volume.

Case: Fender tweed hard shell case included.
