Shipping
All items posted out within 1-5 working days by standard Royal Mail 2nd class in the UK if you have selected free shipping (on all items over £5.00) or 1st class (if selected) and International Standard Airmail*** (overseas from UK)

***Standard Airmail DOES NOT have a tracking number nor is it traceable once posted. If you require a trackable method of postage then please contact me***

Estimated delivery times from Royal Mail (UKs postal provider)

*within UK 1-2 working days 1st class / 3-5 working days 2nd class
*Europe 3-5 working days
*Rest of World inc US/Canada 5-7 working days

In reality, this means UK parcels can take up to a week, Europe takes an average 1-2 weeks and Worldwide - especially US/Canada - can take 2-3 weeks, sometimes much longer! Often this is due to how long a parcel is held in customs by the receiving country. Once it leaves me it is out of my control, I'm afraid.

Buyers are responsible for all local charges and taxes. Those ordering from outside the UK may be subject to import duties, fees and taxes which are levied after the package reaches their country and these are the responsibility of the purchaser

Returns
Under the EU Directive on Consumer Rights June 2014, you now have 14 days from receipt to change your mind and return the item. Please note, you will receive a full refund of the original item and postage but you will be responsible for paying the return postage costs. This complies with the EU regulations and they stipulate that all items must be returned.

Under the new regulations we have to offer a cancellation form for customers use - it is optional but regulations stipulate we have to have one available. If you require a cancellation form please request one and I will email it to you.

Royal Mail do not consider an item of mail lost until

15 workings days has passed for UK deliveries
20-25 working days for overseas deliveries

This is the number of days AFTER the expected date of delivery (ie after the estimated delivery times in my Delivery policy.) Should an item not arrive within this time frame then I will consider it 'lost' and will refund. Please allow that amount of time stated before contacting me regarding a refund. I've had UK parcels take 3 weeks to get to their destination and US parcels sometimes longer (up to 6 weeks on occasions!!!)

Should an item be faulty or damaged please contact me before returning it. I will try to sort out any problems as quickly as possible (complying with the UK's Distance Selling Regulations). All refunds will be made via Paypal.

JEWELLERY CARE INSTRUCTIONS
The findings used in your jewellery are only plated or base metal alloys unless otherwise stated in the listing. Plated means a thin layer of silver has been layered over a base metal of either copper or brass. Over time this plating can wear off.

Tarnishing can sometimes occur. This happens when the metals react with the natural oils in the skin. Unfortunately, the balance of some peoples’ skins causes this darkening to happen quickly. If some of the plating has started to wear & shows the base metal then this can react with your skin & darken the rest of the metal. You can try & polish the metal up with a jewellery polishing cloth or propriety jewellery cleaner. Silver can also tarnish when exposed to the air so try to keep your jewellery away from other pieces or being left out to try & diminish the chances of oxidisation.

Jewellery findings are not indestructible; unfortunately thin metal can break & sometimes clasps malfunction. Try not to expose your items to any undue stress or get them caught up as this may lead to breakages.
